Some events are not created to announce something new.
They are created to remind the market why something matters.
Celebrating WAADA by BT Properties at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai was one of those
evenings.
WAADA had already been launched six months earlier. So this was not a conventional real
estate launch. The challenge was different. The project had to be brought back into
conversation with more strength, more emotion, and more confidence.
It also marked one year of BT Properties in Dubai.
That context was important.
BT Properties was not entering Dubai as a new developer trying to find its place. The brand
came with more than 30 years of development experience, a strong legacy, and a clear
intent to build in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world.
So the event could not just be big.
It had to say something.
And the answer was already there in the name.
WAADA means promise.
That became the thought behind the show.
A promise was made when the project was launched. Now it was time to celebrate that
promise, show its scale, and bring people closer to the vision behind it.
Building the Experience at Coca-Cola Arena
Coca-Cola Arena gave the event a massive canvas. But large venues come with a simple
challenge.
Scale alone does not create connection.
Every person in the arena still needs to feel the story.
The stage was designed to keep WAADA at the centre of the evening. A 36-metre-wide
stage structure, 16 metres in height, created the frame for the experience. Large projection
screens, BT Properties branding, performance zones, lighting, music, and automation all
worked together to build the world of WAADA.
Six large-scale project models were placed into the production design and became a key
part of the final reveal. This was important because even with a global entertainment act and
an arena-sized show, the project could not become secondary.
WAADA had to remain the reason for the evening.
Heartbeats of BT
The first act, Heartbeats of BT, was built around participation.
4,500 Xylobands were distributed across the arena. As the act began, the audience became
part of the visual language of the show.
The act also included 5 moving interactive LED screens, each 1m x 3m, which added
movement and depth to the performance design.
Each light felt like a heartbeat.
Together, they represented people, belief, trust, and the journey of BT Properties.
The WAADA Showcase
The main WAADA showcase was a 10-minute performance featuring 30+ artists, including
acrobats, gymnasts, aerial performers, silk artists, and freestyle dancers.
The act was directed by a former Artistic Director from Cirque du Soleil, giving the
performance a strong theatrical and international language.
This was one of the most complex parts of the evening.
Aerial movement, performer choreography, lighting cues, lasers, SFX, music, projection
content, automation, and the project models all had to come together with precision.
The final reveal brought all six project models down together.
That moment brought the story back to where it started.
WAADA was not just spoken about as a promise.
It was shown.
Maroon 5 Live at Coca-Cola Arena
The evening closed with Maroon 5 live at Coca-Cola Arena.
Their performance brought a different energy to the celebration and helped the event move
beyond the format of a standard real estate gathering.
But the balance was important.
The entertainment had to elevate the evening without taking the focus away from BT
Properties and WAADA.
That balance is what made the event work.
What Celebrating WAADA Stood For
Celebrating WAADA became a statement of presence for BT Properties in Dubai.
It reminded the market that the brand carries legacy, confidence, and long-term intent. It
brought WAADA back into conversation with scale and emotion, while also celebrating one
year of BT Properties in the city.
For Creative Factory, this was another example of what large-scale event production in
Dubai really demands.
It is not only about a big stage, a famous artist, or advanced technology.
It is about finding the right thought.
Then building every element around that thought.
From story to stage design.
From audience experience to performance direction.
From project showcase to final reveal.
That is where the real work sits.
Celebrating WAADA was a complex show with many moving parts, many teams, and many
moments that had to land together.
And in the end, they did.
Full credit to the Creative Factory team, artists, performers, partners, technicians, production
teams, and everyone who brought this experience to life.
