Making The Cut – Amazon Prime Video ( Tokyo Show )

Twelve designers. Twelve distinct creative worlds. From New York to Tokyo, each brought their own design language, identity, and vision to the global stage of Making the Cut on Amazon Prime Video.

For the Tokyo edition of the show, Creative Factory, in collaboration with our partner NuFormer, was entrusted with producing the full suite of visual content that would define the digital environment of the runway experience.

The concept was built around creative freedom and self-expression. Instead of a single unified backdrop, each designer was given a curated selection of immersive digital worlds—crafted as dynamic visual environments that could be chosen to complement and elevate the essence of their collection. These backdrops became an extension of the garments themselves, allowing fashion and digital storytelling to merge seamlessly on stage.

Our role focused on designing and producing these bespoke visual narratives, ensuring each environment had its own distinct tone, rhythm, and emotional identity while still maintaining the elevated aesthetic of a global fashion production. The result was a fluid interplay between physical runway and digital atmosphere, where projection and content design enhanced the storytelling without overpowering the collections.

From concept development and visual direction to content production and show integration, Creative Factory worked closely with NuFormer and the production team to ensure a seamless execution across all twelve designer segments.

The Tokyo show became a powerful demonstration of how digital environments can expand the language of fashion, offering designers not just a stage, but a world to inhabit.

We are proud to have contributed to this global production and grateful to our collaborators for their trust and partnership in bringing this innovative runway experience to life.
