SHARJAH INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL

The region’s first children’s and youth film festival, brought to life through a 3D holographic stage experience designed to inspire, engage, and captivate young audiences.

Creative Factory had the privilege of designing the stage content for SIFF across two consecutive years, developing a visual language that transformed the festival into an immersive journey of imagination and storytelling.

At the heart of the experience was a 20 x 5 metre scrim, used as a holographic surface to create layered 3D visual effects. This allowed content to appear as though it was floating within the space, blending physical performance with digital storytelling in a way that felt both magical and accessible for younger audiences.

The creative approach focused on wonder and discovery. Each segment of the festival was designed as a visual chapter, using animation, motion graphics, and spatial illusions to bring stories to life in a dynamic and engaging way. The holographic medium enabled a sense of depth and movement, turning the stage into a continuously evolving canvas.

From content design and visual storytelling to technical adaptation for holographic projection, Creative Factory ensured that each element worked in harmony with live performances and festival programming. The result was a seamless integration of technology and narrative that elevated the overall audience experience.

Over the two-year collaboration, SIFF became a platform where education, entertainment, and imagination intersected—offering young audiences a unique way to experience cinema and storytelling.

We are proud to have contributed to this pioneering festival format and extend our gratitude to all partners involved in bringing this innovative stage experience to life.
