ŠKODA Auto India – Conquering the Unconquerable in the Himalayas

Projection mapping at almost 11,000 feet above sea level, staged on the face of a Himalayan mountain. For the 20th year of ŠKODA Auto India, the theme “Conquer the Unconquerable” became more than a campaign idea—it became a physical journey into one of the most challenging and breathtaking landscapes in North India.

Creative Factory was entrusted with the full-scale production of the project, from the initial automotive film shoot to the final projection mapping execution on the mountain itself. The ambition was to create a visual experience that embodied resilience, engineering excellence, and the spirit of exploration that defines the ŠKODA brand.

The production journey took the team deep into the Himalayan range, where extreme terrain, unpredictable weather, and high-altitude conditions became an integral part of the creative and technical process. Every aspect of planning required precision—from equipment logistics and content design to projection calibration in a naturally dynamic environment.

At the heart of the experience was a large-scale projection mapping installation that transformed the mountain face into a cinematic canvas. The rugged natural contours of the landscape became part of the storytelling itself, with visual sequences designed to merge seamlessly with the environment rather than sit upon it. The result was a powerful interplay between nature and technology, where the mountain became both stage and subject.

Alongside the mapping experience, Creative Factory produced the full film content, including the automotive shoot that formed the narrative foundation of the project. This end-to-end approach ensured continuity between the cinematic storytelling and the live experiential execution on location.
